2023 Arise Conference Highlights!

The Glory definitely fell on this meeting. With 40 women out of shelters, this was one of our best Arise conferences ever. Many were saved and filled with the Spirit. Our heart is to see these “Diamond Girls” walk out of a victim mentality and become victors in life. Thank you so much if you have prayed or donated to Arise. Here is a snapshot of what you took part in:

This is the 2023 Diamond Girl class on the lawn of the Waikaloa Marriott on the Big Island of Hawaii. These ladies are ladies who have decided to go deeper in God by being a part of this two night, three day meeting. We heard many great testimonies from them after going through the conference.

Here they are choosing clothes for the Friday Fashion Show they modelled at. The Johnny Was boutique stores sent 40 outfits to Hawaii for them, in addition to clothes donated by Kona’s thrift store. These ladies went home with a new wardrobe!

This is me and Rebecca, a special needs teacher in Hilo. She wasn’t going to come to the conference this year, but the Lord changed her mind. Rebecca was a Diamond Girl chaperone. Standing by the pool during the Friday afternoon break, she spotted a little boy motionless in the water on the bottom. She immediately dove down, scooped him up and placed him on the edge. This little 5-year-old Japanese boy was not breathing. Fortunately Rebecca knew CPR and started working on him. All the other Diamond Girls stood around her and started to pray. Water suddenly gushed out of his mouth and he started to breathe again. Everyone screamed. The paramedics took him to the hospital just to check him out but he was doing fine the following day. He and his parents spoke very little English. These Diamond girls immediately put into action what they had learned in the previous two sessions, glory to God!!

“Amber the Evangelist” Amber was one of our Diamond Girls, she is known for being on fire for Jesus.

This is Mei Lin Gorman, from Hilo Hawaii, who organized all the Diamond Girls before the event. She is a former Diamond Girl herself.

Pastor Mike Maiden was our lead speaker. He gave many accurate prophetic words for people. He is the senior Pastor of Church of the Nations in Phoenix, Arizona.

Pastor Pam Ako’s daughter walked out of her wheelchair after a healing anointing rested on the room.

Pastor Pam, her daughter Tiffany Javier, we are thanking God for her walking out of her wheelchair! It was a miracle. She is still walking today.
